Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact gem stretching along the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. It is world-famous for its tree-climbing lions, vast flocks of flamingos along the alkaline lake shore, and diverse habitats ranging from groundwater forest to open grasslands. Ernest Hemingway called it 'the loveliest lake in Africa.'
