The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, often called the 'Eighth Wonder of the World.' This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans 260 square kilometers and provides a natural enclosure for approximately 25,000 large animals, including the critically endangered black rhino. The crater floor offers some of the best Big Five viewing in Africa, with the possibility of spotting all five in a single game drive. Maasai communities coexist with wildlife on the crater rim.
